Who this covers

garbage-cards is a private tool with a single operator. Its only users are the owners of the Garbage Republican and Garbage Democrat social media accounts. It is not offered to the public, and it collects nothing from visitors to this site.

What the app accesses

When an account owner authorizes it, garbage-cards uses read-only access to that owner's own accounts on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X. It reads post metadata (titles, captions, publish times, links) and the performance numbers each platform reports for those posts, such as views, likes, comments, shares and watch time.

It does not post, edit, delete, send messages, or read anyone else's private data.

How it is used and stored

The data is kept in a private database the operator controls. It is used only to understand how the operation's own posts performed. OAuth tokens are kept in the operator's password manager, never in the database. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Google user data

garbage-cards's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deletion

You can revoke access at any time in the platform's own account settings (for Google, myaccount.google.com/permissions). To have stored data deleted, email the address below.
